TMP: July 2016 Discipleship Post 1

The end of our first day working in the Philippines has come. Right now, I’m feeling exhausted at a level that I can barely describe. From the looks of it, Dylan is feeling the jet lag just as much. I’m usually tired when I’m here, and this is no exception! But apart from that, I’m seeing why we are here this week.

My role working with discipleship allows me to come along side pastors and leaders who already do good work. They are serving in settings that are the kind of places that Jesus would most assuredly be. We met with Pastor Stanley and Noreen who lead Vista Wesleyan Church in Tanza. After knowing them for a couple of years from previous trips, we were able to go a little deeper in our friendship. And that is why we are here this week. Discipleship is based on trust. My hope is that what I contribute to their lives, they multiply in others. And I cannot think of a better place to multiply the love of God.

The two of you men take care of yourselves. And thank you for carrying the love of God to the people of the Philippines. Brother Dave tell the people of the Philippines that we love them as well. That God’s love can be consumed for Spiritual health and wealth.

    Pastor Dave,
You have a way of multiplying mounds and mounds of God’s love and all that is good everywhere you go and in everyone you meet!
    Love and prayers
